The Wild Goose Festival is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Sustainable Event Charter for its 2025 season. This designation arrives at a pivotal moment for the festival as it enters its fifth year, celebrating the creativity, place and nature that make our region so special.
The Sustainable Event Charter is the first of its kind in south-west Scotland and is managed and awarded by the team at the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere. The charter was awarded in recognition of the festival’s commitment to embracing a circular economy, delivering outstanding community engagement, promoting sustainability and conservation, and celebrating the unique heritage of Dumfries and Galloway.
This designation would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the festival team and our partners. We are immensely proud to have received this honour and look forward to welcoming the community back to the festival this October.
