The Wild Goose Festival is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Sustainable Event Charter for our 2025 season. This designation arrives at a pivotal moment for our festival as we enter our fifth year of operation, celebrating the creativity, place, and nature that make our region special.
The Sustainable Event Charter is the first of its kind for Southwest Scotland and is managed and awarded by the team at the GSA UNESCO Biosphere. The event charter was awarded based on the festival’s commitment to embracing a circular economy, outstanding community engagement, sustainability, conservation, and celebrating the unique heritage of Dumfries and Galloway.
This designation would not be possible without the hard work of the festival team and partners. We are beyond proud to have received this honour and are excited to welcome the community back to the festival this October.
