Watch the river with WWT Caerlaverock experts while enjoying a breakfast at the Boathouse Café. Spot the birds that use this watery highway and learn about their habits and migrations. Tickets: Call the Boathouse on 01387 770673 to reserve your space.
As the sun goes down, walk out to look over the saltmarsh. Wait for the geese to fly overhead to the mudflats where they spend their evenings. Enjoy a hot drink on return to the Visitor Centre.
Join WWT Caerlaverock and NatureScot staff for a 6 mile walk up Wardlaw Hill and through the Caerlaverock NNR to learn about our migrating geese and look for signs of spring.
