On 4th February, Andrew Kennedy died in The Crichton Hospital. He had been in the institution for several years receiving treatment following a mental collapse.
He could not bear to be inside, claiming that he could not sleep behind a locked door. Andrew was the ‘last of the Kennedy’s’, a long-established Dumfries and Galloway Tinkler Gypsy family.
