River Writes with DJ McDowell & Margot Henderson

Join DJ McDowell & Margot Henderson for a reflective writing walk along the river Nith, following the rhythm and rhyme of the river as it flows through place and time. 

We’ll share some simple writing prompts on 

• coming back to our senses in the present 
• imagining what the river remembers 
• the histories and mysteries it holds 
• dreaming the future that has yet to unfold. 

All welcome. Come if you feel drawn. Like the river, the writing twists and turns, but there’s no way it can go wrong. Bring a notebook and pen and dress for weather.
