Family Fun at the Wig
GSA Biosphere & Kirkcolm Community Trust

In winter Loch Ryan attracts wintering birds such as geese, ducks, swans and waders.
Join the GSA Biosphere Community and Education team at Kirkcolm Community Hub, for an afternoon walk to the Wig to see the wintering birds, do scavenger hunts and play games on the beach.
We will meet at Kirkcolm Community Hub, go out for a walk to the Wig then return to warm up with hot chocolate and take part in fun marine-based activities.
Please wear warm and waterproof clothing, and footwear suitable for the beach. Free event.
