Dr Werner Kissling was born into great luxury in Germany before World War One. For over thirty years, he worked closely with Dumfries Museum Curators Alf Truckell and David Lockwood to photograph the lives of the people of Dumfries and Galloway.
Dr Kissling left behind an amazing number of images which this talk will share as well as exploring his life and times.
