Brothers Who Followed The Sun with Commingled

Join Multi-Sensory Storyteller Heather Taylor from Commingled for Brothers Follow the Sun — an interactive sensory storytelling experience inspired by Aboriginal traditions and grounded in themes of migration, belonging, identity, and our deep connection to nature.

In this inclusive, sensory-friendly event, audiences will journey alongside two brothers who follow the path of the sun across a changing landscape. Through live storytelling, songs, sounds, textures, and movement, Heather invites audiences to experience the land as a living presence — shaped by the choices, care, and creativity of those who travel through it.

The story explores migration as a courageous and necessary act of exploration, learning, and transformation. 

After the performance, participants will consider their connection to nature and be invited to contribute to a new story map, designing personal journeys filled with landmarks, creatures, songs, and lessons from their imagined travels.
