Wardlaw Walk with WWT & The Depot

Join the WWT Caerlaverock team & our valued partners The Depot for a 6-mile guided walk through Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve, and back down round to the historic Caerlaverock Castle, an ancient site of sanctuary. This walk not only gives you gorgeous scenery, but you will also learn about the migrating barnacle and pink-footed geese flying overhead, and have the opportunity to meet others on the walk with their own stories of migration.
This is a circular route that will begin and end at WWT Caerlaverock.

Boots & binoculars are encouraged but not necessary. Warm clothes required!

6 mile walk, not appropriate for those with limited mobility
Please wear warm and waterproof clothing and footwear. Binoculars are encouraged but not required. The walk has mixed terrain and a medium hill. We will provide opportunities to rest along the way, however, the path is not suitable for those of limited mobility.
