He had been in the institution for several years receiving treatment following a mental collapse.  \n\n\n\nHe could not bear to be inside\, claiming that he could not sleep behind a locked door. Andrew was the ‘last of the Kennedy’s’\, a long-established Dumfries and Galloway Tinkler Gypsy family.  \n\n\n\nLearn more about this hidden history – the culture of Gypsy Roma Travellers in our region alongside their persecution. \n\n\n\nFree to attend\, no need to book.
