Waders are also in abundance with curlews\, golden plover\, grey plover\, knot and dunlin present. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the carpark in Stranraer and use telescopes and binoculars to find and identify the birds. \n\n\n\nExperts will be present to help with identification and to provide further information about ecology and migration. \n\n\n\nThis event is held in partnership with the GSA Biosphere\, British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) and Scottish Ornithology Club (SOC). Please bring lunch\, warm and waterproof clothing\, suitable footwear\, binoculars and telescopes if you have them. \n\n\n\nEvent Type: Outdoor  \n\n\n\nEvent: Free \n\n\n\nAccessibility Details: The outdoor walk on the beach is not suitable for wheelchairs\, however the birds can be observed from the car park.  \n\n\n\nEvent Capacity: 25 \n\n\n\nAge Restriction: All ages welcome
